PAHUD Stats

I've had a few comments lately about the PAHud Stats that I use so I thought I'd list them here and see what comments, adjustments I should make if any: -

1st Column (Default Settings)

VPIP
PFR
Aggression Factor
Hands Played

2nd Column (Additions Made)

Call C-Bet
Fold C-Bet
Makes C-Bet
Went to Showdown
Won $ @ Showdown

I'd like to add the folded SB/BB to Steal attempts option but at the minute I don't have any room and I'm not sure I could keep track of any more.

I realise that alot of these stats are very much driven by personal preferences and I need to pay alot more attention to them particularly when involved in a big hand.

Thanks

Chris

How often do you use the showdown stats? And what do you use them for? I see a lot of people have them on their HUD, but I never found them that useful. I like to have their steal attempt and fold to steal on there too. But I have A LOT of stats on so...

A useful pair of stats that i have started to use after some advice from dodgyken... are your own V$PIP and PFR . This gives you the advantage of knowing what your opponents are thinking about you !!

Also it may be useful to put them across instead of columns !!

The only one you mentioned that I don't have is call c-bet (I think fold to c-bet is much more important, especially for 6-max), but it can't hurt to have those in there. I also have folds by street on mine.

I don't show steal attempt and fold to steal stats on the HUD, but I do have them in my popup, and check out the fold to steals on my left and attempt to steal on my right. What I look for is if there's anything that sticks out in contrast to either their VPIP (for fold to steal) or PFR (for attempt to steal). Usually they go pretty well together, so I can get a sense of who to steal against and who's stealing against me by looking at those stats. I 4-table, so it's not like there's a ton to remember in terms of looking up their stats on the popups.

@Martin: I like using the showdown stats together to see if someone is only getting to showdown with strong hands. I used to use it as a gauge on whom to maybe fire another barrel or to value bet light (the former for low WtSD and the latter for high WtSD), but since I have fold by street and general aggression, I don't use those stats so much any longer.

Oh, and having at least some of your own stats is a good reminder, although keep in mind it probably only helps against the more casual player, as a reg is likely to have your lifetime stats showing, and your self stats are for the current session only.

Thanks for the comments, I'll certainly consider what you've said.

I do have my own stats own VPIP and PFR stats for the session showing. I only use these really as a guide to see whether I need to increase/reduce the number of hands I am playing. This is only worth considering imo after 100+ if not more hands because you may be card dead or hitting for fun (very rare sadly)which will distort the figures.
